USG - 5/8" DUROCK® Glass-Mat Tile Backer - 4’ x 8' 

USG Durock® Brand Glass-Mat Tile Backer  is a moisture and mold-resistant panel with fiberglass mat facer and back.  The face of the panel was treated with a cementitous coating for moisture resistance and enhance tile bond, making it ideal for tile substrate for wet areas. USG Durock®  Brand Glass-Mat Tile Backer combines the tile bond of cement board with the handling ease of use of USG SHEETROCK®brand panels. This product, exceeds ASTM C1178 which is the standard specification for coated glass-mat water resistant gypsum backing panels. The 5/8" type X panels are UL classified as fire resistant.  
  
Applications are:
  • Bathrooms (shower and tub walls, floors and ceilings)
  • Kitchens ( back splash, wall, countertops and floors)
  • Residential and light commercial floors
  • Non-tiled walls and ceilings in indoor swimming pool enclosures
